Charles City's historic Suspension Bridge was destroyed in the June 2008 flooding. The City is currently working with engineers and historic preservation experts to form a plan for replacing the bridge. As information becomes available, updates will be posted on this site and shared in local media.

 Suspension Bridge Centennial Plate - $35 each The Suspension Bridge Plate features an original drawing by area artist Ann Schneckloth with a 100th anniversary inscription on the back. The first 150 plates are numbered.
 Suspension Footbridge Over the Cedar River by Joyce Holton Crawford - $10 each The book contains newspaper articles, photographs and historical information provided by the Floyd County Historical Museum, the family of bridge designer Charles Hart, and the Charles City Press. All remaining books signed by the author and dated 6/8/08.
